I hold a Masters of Social Work with a certificate in trauma studies from Simmons University. I received my certificate in addiction counseling from the University of Massachusetts Boston Campus Addiction Counselor Education Program in 2016. My area of interest is in addiction and I have completed the necessary training to become a certified sex addiction therapist (CSAT) I have worked in the substance use treatment field for over seven years, mostly with folks experiencing homelessness. My hope is to assist individuals with a history of addictive issues to decrease cravings and impulses in an effort to effectively change negative self-beliefs. I facilitate this work through the use of EMDR and additional modalities as deemed appropriate. EMDR 1 & 2 trained, CSAT, Substance Abuse Professional (SAP). I approach every person from a place of non-judgment and aim to work collaboratively with each individual to achieve desired goals.
